Who is Bob Ross?

" All you need is the desire to paint"

Robert Norman Ross, known as Bob Ross, is an American painter who marked the 1980s thanks to his television show "The Joy of Painting", where he introduced viewers to various pictorial techniques from 1983 to 1994. He managed to paint tables in just 30 minutes with consistently impressive results.

Mireille Desroches was able to watch numerous programs in those years and was even able to watch, during a trip to Florida, an outdoor workshop with Bob Ross accompanied by a hundred artists in front of their easels. It was captivating!

His show was broadcast first in the United States, and quickly abroad such as Canada, Mexico and some European countries.

Bob Ross's technique is very simple and anyone can learn to produce beautiful work in just a few hours. All you need is to want to paint. Nothing else! No skills are necessary. Everyone can do it and as Bob often said…

"We don't make mistakes, we only have happy little accidents".

A CRI, “Certified Ross Instructor”, is an art teacher who has been trained specifically for the Bob Ross technique in the field of “Landscape”. There are several specialties of Bob Ross trainers:

Certificat CRI® Level I

CRI®= certified to teach the Ross Landscapes method

CRFI™ = certified to teach the Ross Fleurs method

CRWI™ = certified to teach the Ross Animal Method

CRPI™ = certified to teach the Ross Portraits method

How a Bob Ross® workshop takes place

The courses are suitable for beginners as well as the most advanced; You do not need any prior experience to participate. Remember, only Bob Ross Certified Instructors are trained to provide sound advice you can trust!

In these workshops you will be introduced to the fascinating world of oil painting using Bob Ross®'s Wet-on-Wet® technique. A technique that allows you to create a painting in a single day.

A day of painting generally lasts 4 to 5 hours, and ends when you sign your painting.

I will explain every detail to you and I will carry out all the steps in front of you, so that you can reproduce them on your own canvas. Don't worry, I will come and supervise your every step. You will be surprised to see that this method is simple and accessible to everyone.

The workshops are done in groups of 8 people maximum. The workshop is guaranteed from 3 registrations.

The price includes all Bob Ross materials, that is to say, paint, palette, brushes, easel, canvas, apron, household paper and even coffee. All you will have to provide is your smile.
